Required skills:
- Autocad 2013

- AutoCad Revit (Desirable but not required)

- Knowledge of local codes and standards
- Knowledge and understanding of general Fire Protection systems.
- Coordinate the work to be installed creating fully coordinated penetration drawings as well as piping installation drawings through the use of contract Arch, Structural, MEP drawings, project submittal data, and attending coordination meetings.
- Provide fabrication drawings for shop and field, fab drawings are generated from the coordination drawings and use of project submittal data.
- Layout hanger points and sleeve points for use with Trimble Layout systems
Plumbing Coordinator
Required skills:
- Autocad 2013
- Navisworks 2013
- QuickPen PD3D
- AutoCad Revit (Desirable but not required)
- Microsoft word/excel
- Knowledge of local codes and standards
- Knowledge and understanding of sizing practices for general plumbing systems, such as hot and cold water systems, drainage and venting systems, So-vent systems
- Coordinate the work to be installed creating fully coordinated penetration drawings as well as piping installation drawings through the use of contract Arch, Structural, MEP drawings, project submittal data, and attending coordination meetings.
- Provide fabrication drawings for shop and field, fab drawings are generated from the coordination drawings and use of project submittal data.
- Layout hanger points and sleeve points for use with Trimble Layout systems.
- some take-off of sleeves and drains required.
HVAC Piping Coordinator
Required Skills:
Description:
Interpret and understand project-specific specifications, drawings, submittals, and 3D model of the engineer’s design intent while collaborating with other construction trades.
- 3 – 5 years working experience using CAD/REVIT on medium and large-scale projects using Autodesk technologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of general HVAC systems, such as hot and chilled water systems, Steam and condensate systems, Fuel oil, heat pumps, Fan Coils, Chillers/Cooling towers.
- Knowledge of local codes and standards
- Experience generating spool sheets and interface with shop foreman
- Well-versed with Autodesk Technologies and other tools of the trade such as:
- Autodesk REVIT ME
- Autodesk Navisworks\
- AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
- Autodesk BIM 360 Glue
- Trimble Total Station
- Procore Construction Management Software
- Word, Excel, Bluebeam
Description:
Interpret and understand project-specific specifications, drawings, submittals, and 3D model of the engineer’s design intent while collaborating with other construction trades.
- Perform clash detection and fly through a design model in Navisworks.
- Fully Coordinate the work to be installed, and produce coordinated layouts, penetration drawings as-well-as piping installation drawings.
- Seamlessly navigate between projects, and prioritizing deliverables.
- Generate prefab spool sheets and interface with shop foreman.
- Organize and provide drawings, sketches, and other info to jobsite to assemble from.
- Generate layout hanger points and deck penetration points for use with Trimble Layout systems.
- Liaise with General Contractor, Design Team, Project Managers, colleagues, and other construction personnel.
- Participate in scheduled coordination meetings.
