Vin Petroni worked as the Controller until promoted to Vice President and Treasurer in 1983 and was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2009 and named President in 2010. A graduate from Northeastern University with an Accounting degree, he also has an MBA from Babson College and is a CPA. Providing overall direction of the company and continuing the proud family tradition of hard work, honoring our commitments and providing a quality product for over 120 years.
Executive Vice President Operations
Len Monfredo, LEED AP has been active in the construction industry for twenty years. He was a former owner of Creative Engineering Inc., and C.E. Space Planning Inc., two New York City based design and construction companies. One company specializing in scenery the other company specializing in renovations of New York City apartments and residential homes on Long Island NY. Both companies are still operating successfully under Len's former partner. Running and owning two companies prior to joining E.M. Duggan in 2009 has given Len skills and experience with all aspects of a business including finances, planning, operations, client relations, management, vendor relations, advertising, marketing, safety and green building. Len is also President of Duggan Mechanical Service a subsidiary of E.M. Duggan.
Chief Operating Officer & Executive VP
Fredric (Rick) Dorci has been active in the mechanical contracting industry for over thirty years. He has functioned at all levels within the industry. Rick started his career in Estimating, moved up to Project Manager and eventually Vice President of the HVAC department for Lappin Brothers. In 1995 he was recruited by a National Mechanical Contractor and served as Project Manager, Contract Manager, Construction Sales Manager, Vice President and Branch Manager. He joined E.M. Duggan in 2010 and holds the current position of Chief Operating Officer. Rick is a Master Pipefitter and currently is on the board of Trustees of the New England Mechanical Contractors Association.
Senior Vice President Plumbing
Kevin Walsh has served the New England Plumbing Industry in every capacity for over twenty five years. He is a third generation plumber. He worked his way up from apprentice to field foreman to project manager. Kevin was promoted to Vice President of JC Higgins Corp (an EMCOR Company) where he was Master Plumber for seven years and managed all Plumbing Operations. He Co-Authored the Standard Operating Procedures for JC Higgins which enables the Royal Seal of ISO-9000 certification. He is a graduate of the MCA Institute of Advanced Project Management & Leadership at the Univ of Texas At Austin. Kevin joined the E.M. Duggan Team in 2011 and holds the current position of Senior Vice President Plumbing. Kevin is an Education Trustee and the Current President of the PHCC of Greater Boston. He holds Master Plumbing & Gas Licenses in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Senior VP Fire Protection
Steve Hilliger has been active in fire protection contracting for over 30 years. He began his career as a Project Manager and developed to operations manager, branch manager, to vice president and Senior Vice President. He is a graduate of Illinois Institute of technology in Fire Protection Engineering and attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Masters in Fire Protection. He maintains an active membership with the National Fire Protection Association as well as the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Steve serves as a volunteer fire fighter and has done so for over 30 years. Steve also holds a journeyman sprinkler fitters license.
VP of Coordination and Design
Mike Gillis has been active in the Plumbing industry since 1989. He joined E.M.Duggan in 1994 as Project Coordinator and was quickly elevated to Senior Project Coordinator and currently holds the position of Vice President in charge of Design and coordination. He holds both a Journeyman and Master Plumbers license in Massachusetts.
Mike has the ability to solve even the most difficult challenges projects have to offer, and is highly regarded in the industry for such abilities. His ability to perform these tasks makes him an excellent team player and an asset to any project. He takes an active role in working with the coordinators and detailers to ensure piping arrangements and prefabrications suite project requirements. His ability to schedule and work with the general contractors helps keep project milestones on track.
Mike is an instructor at the Local 12 Plumbers training facility. His courses include both 2 and 3 dimensional auto CADD and coordination.
